Welcome to the New MBA Website

Welcome to the new and improved Minnesota Baseball Association website!  Da Vinci Software started from the ground up and built a user friendly space to fulfill all of your amateur baseball needs.  The address is the same…the content more abundant and useful.

This new website will allow all MBA teams and leagues to have a webpage that they can create and update as easy as the click of a mouse.  It is fully integrated with Score Monster's Content Management System (CMS) which allows teams the ability to publish schedules, rosters, stats and articles to their team website without having to be a "Techie".  And to top it off, it is all FREE.

This is what each team needs to do to start the process:

  1. Determine a team webmaster---this is the person that will enter your team information.

  2. Have the webmaster sign up for your free account at http://www.ScoreMonster.com

  3. Email the support team at support@mnbaseball.org to request access to your MBA team website.

  4. In the email, please provide your full name, email used when you registered in Score Monster and team name for which you are requesting Administrative access.  Our support team will follow-up and verify that the request is legitimate before approving.

  5. After the account is setup, Team Webmasters will be able to update their team's articles, player profiles and schedules.

Coming in early April, team Webmasters will also be able to score games and let the Score Monster's scoring engine automatically update their MBA Team/League stats and standings.

When the website has been updated and fully integrated with Score Monster, team and league websites will have integrated stats and standings.  What does that mean?  Team Webmasters simply score a game and widgets like Batting Avg., League Leaders and ERA League Leaders are automatically updated by Score Monster's scoring engine.

Coming soon, teams will be able to take advantage of Score Monster's advertising network.  Your team will be able to generate revenue from your MBA team website.  The MBA Board and Da Vinci Software are currently working out these details with more information coming at the March Board meeting.

“This is my way of personally giving back to a great organization and to the spirit of amateur baseball,” said Steve Loos, founder of DaVinci Software and an avid amateur baseball player, manager and fan of the MBA for over 18 years.  “I’m looking forward to the growth of this joint venture and being able to work with fellow baseball enthusiasts for years to come.”
