Help with old photos

I have a shoebox from my great grandfather full of negatives in perfect condition of baseball games, players, and fields/stadiums. My great grandpa was, George Thompson, one of the founders of the umpires association. He took many pictures back in the '20s-'60s.

Is there anyone who could help me with this project? I need to identify and price what they are worth. Then I would like to start selling copies on paper to places. I need a partner to help me and I would share profits with this person. A lot of these negatives are from Minnesota teams, Chicago, Canada, New York and other places. Tournaments for the Week of June 25-28

The Chicago Wildcats defeated Dundas 6-4 June 24 and say they will win the SPAMtown Challenge!

What a week for tournaments!  There are eight tournaments scheduled for this week with a couple of the most prestigious being the Miller Lite Invitational in Green Isle and Hamburg and the SPAMtown challenge in Austin.  The Miller Lite tourney is

predominately a Class "C" tourney with some of the top "C" teams in the state participating.  The SPAMtown challenge is a 16 team tourney with teams from all over the nation playing.  Many top "B" teams are also participating including Cold Spring, Chaska, Austin Greyhounds and Blue Sox, St. Michael and Blaine.  Minnetonka is also there.

 The other teams having tournaments are Moorhead Brewers, Hinckley, Stockmen's, Cologne, Rum River Bandits and Howard Lake. 

Here are the details for the tournaments:

 2009 Miller Lite Invitational Tournament-This tournament is being held in Green Isle and Hamburg.  There are 16 teams and games are scheduled Thursday through Sunday.  Thursday at Hamburg it is Green Isle vs Edina at 8:00 P.M.  At Green Isle at 8:00 P.M. is Hamburg vs New Richland.

 Friday at Hamburg it is Young America and Fairfax at 6:30 and St. Joseph and Blue Earth at 8:45 P.M.  In Green Isle, Loretto plays Montgomery at 6:30 P.M. and Hastings plays Fergus Falls at 8:45 P.M. 

 First round play ends on Saturday morning with St. Francis and Watkins playing in Hamburg at 11:00 A.M.  At the same time in Green Isle, it is Litchfield and Elk River.  Losers' bracket games are played at the opposite field as the first game and are at 1:15 and 3:30 P.M. at each park.  Winners' bracket games are also opposite and will be played at 5:45 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. 

 Sunday, it is losers' bracket games at each park at 11:00 A.M. and the semis of the winners at 1:15 P.M. in each park.  The consolation final is at Green Isle at 3:30 P.M. and the championship is in Green Isle at 6:00 P.M. http://www.greenisleirish.net/ 

 2009 SPAMtown Challenge in Austin starts on Thursday evening.  There are also 16 teams in this tournament.  It has four pools of four and they all play each other Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  On Sunday the four pool winners play a four team single elim to determine the champion.  Here are the teams in their pools and the schedule: http://www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/?u=austingreyhounds&s=baseball&t=c

Pool A is Austin Greyhounds, St. Michael, Chicago VeePak Hawks and Brookings, SD Cubby's.  Pool B is Austin Blue Sox, Cold Spring, Chicago Wildcats and Prescott, WI.  Pool C is Blaine, Chaska, Omaha, Nebraska and Peekskill New York Tides.  Pool D is Minnetonka Millers, Lacrosse, WI Athletics, LaSalle, IL Eagles and Jamestown, ND Merchants. 

Thursday games are Austin Blue Sox vs Chicago Wildcats at 6:00 P.M. and Austin Greyhounds vs Chicago VeePak Hawks at 8:00 P.M.  Both games are at Marcusen Park.

Friday games are Chicago Wildcats vs Prescott 3:00 P.M. and Blaine vs Peekskill Tides at 5:00 P.M. at Marcusen.  LaSalle vs Jamestown at 5:30 P.M. and Brookings vs Chicago VeePak at 6:00 P.M. both at Riverland complex.  Austin Greyhounds vs St. Micheal at 7:00 P.M. at Marcusen and Austin Blue Sox and Cold Spring at 9:00 P.M. at Marcusen.  Chaska and Omaha at 7:30 P.M. and Minnetonka and LaCrosse at 8:00 P.M. both at the Riverland Complex. 

Saturday games at Marcusen Park are as follows:Omaha vs Peekskill at Noon, Chaska vs Peekskill at 2:00 P.M., Austin Greyhounds vs Brookings at 4:30 P.M. Minnetonka vs LaSalle at 6:30 P.M. and Austin Blue Sox vs Prescott at 8:30 P.M.  Games at the Riverland Complex are:  St. Michael vs Brookings at 12:30 P.M., Minnetonka vs Jamestown at 1:00 P.M.  LaCrosse vs LaSalle at 2:00 P.M., Cold Spring vs Prescott at 2:30 P.M., Blaine vs Omaha at 3:30 P.M., LaCrosse vs Jamestown at 5:00 P.M., St. Michael vs Chicago VeePak at 6:00 P.M., Blaine vs Chaska at 7:30 P.M., and Cold Spring vs Chicago Wildcats at 8:00 P.M.

Sunday is the final four.  The winner of Pool B plays the winner of Pool D at 10:00 A.M. and the winner of Pool A plays the winner of Pool C at Noon.  The Championship of the 2009 SPAMtown Challenge is at 2:00 P.M.  All Sunday games are at Marcusen Park. 

 The Moorhead Brewers are hosting their annual Border Battle Tournament in Wahpeton, North Dakota.  There are six teams with two pools.  Pool A is Moorhead, Mayville, ND and Shakopee.  Pool B is Jamestown, ND, St. Cloud Orthopedic and Midway.  The schedule is: 

 Friday, Moorhead vs Mayville at 6:00 P.M. and Jamestown vs St. Cloud at 8:30 P.M.

 Saturday, Moorhead vs Shakopee at 11:00 A.M., Midway vs St. Cloud at 1:30 P.M., Jamestown vs Midway at 4:00 P.M. and Shakopee vs Mayville at 6:30 P.M.

 Sunday, at 10:30 A.M. is the Toilet Bowl game (their terminology), third place game at 1:00 P.M. and the championship game at 3:30 P.M.

 Hinckley is hosting their annual tournament at Brennan Field in Hinckley Friday through Sunday.  The first game is Friday night at 6:00 P.M. with Hinckley playing Brooklyn Park.  At 8:00 P.M. Elko plays Brownton. 

 Saturday, Shakopee plays Champlin at 10:00 P.M. and Maple Plain and Hibbing play at 12:30 P.M.  The losers play at 3:00 and 5:30 P.M. and the Winners of games one and two play at 8:00 P.M.

 Sunday, the winners of games three and four play at 10:30 P.M.  The consolation championship is at 1:00 P.M.  Third place game is at 3:30 P.M. and the championship game is at 6:00 P.M.

 The 2009 Stockmen's Irish Invitational is on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at McGuire Field in South St. Paul.  There are six teams and two pools in this tournament.  Pool A is Stillwater, St. Louis Park and Minneapolis Cobras.  Pool B is Rosetown, Green Mill and Stockmen's. 

 Thursday games are Green Mill vs Rosetown at 6:15 P.M. and Rosetown vs Stockmen's at 8:45 P.M. 

 Saturday, Stillwater plays St. Louis Park at 11:00 A.M., Minneapolis Cobras vs Stillwater at 2:00 P.M., St. Louis Park vs Minneapolis Cobras at 5:00 P.M. and Stockmen's vs Green Mill at 8:00 P.M. 

Sunday, the fifth place game is at 11:00 A.M., third place game at 2:00 P.M. and the championship is at 5:00 P.M. 

The Carver/Cologne 2009 Invitational Tournament is this Saturday and Sunday.  Game one is Cologne vs Kingston at 9:00 A.M. Saturday and game two is Rockford vs the Cleveland Condors at 11:30 A.M. Both games are in Cologne.  Games three and four are at the same times in Carver.  Game three is Carver vs Mound and game four is Webster vs Norwood.  

Losers of games one and two play in Cologne at 2:00 P.M. and game three and four losers play in Carver at the same time.  Winners of games one and two play in Cologne at 4:30 P.M. and winners of games three and four play at the same time in Carver. 

Sunday, the seventh place game is at Noon in Cologne.  The fifth place game is at Noon in Carver.  The third place game is at 3:00 P.M. in Carver and the championship is 3:00 P.M. in Colgne.

The second annual Bandits Bash will be held Friday through Sunday at Larson Field in Cambridge.    This is a six team-two pool tournament.  The Killebrew pool is Exeland, Quamba and the host Rum River.  The Oliva Pool is Princeton, Ham Lake and the defending champion, Bloomington Bandits.  Friday night Quamba plays Rum River at 8:00 P.M. 

Saturday, Ham Lake plays Princeton at 10:30 A.M., Exeland plays Quamba at 1:00 P.M., Bloomington plays Ham Lake at 3:30 P.M., Rum River plays Exeland at 6:00 P.M. and Bloomington and Princeton play at 8:30 P.M.  On Saturday night all kids wearing their youth baseball or softball uniforms will receive one free play on the Plinko Board.

Sunday, the fifth place game is at 11:00 A.M.  The third place game is 1:30 P.M. and the championship starts at 4:00 P.M.   

In Howard Lake it is the 13th Annual Good Neighbor Days Tournament.  This is a four team tournament on Friday and Saturday.  Friday night Atwater plays Kimball at 6:00 P.M.  At 8:15 P.M. it is Winsted vs Howard Lake.  There will be a fireworks show at the conclusion of the second game. 

On Saturday, the losers play at 6:00 P.M. for third place and the championship is at 8:15 P.M.
