Help with old photos

I have a shoebox from my great grandfather full of negatives in perfect condition of baseball games, players, and fields/stadiums. My great grandpa was, George Thompson, one of the founders of the umpires association. He took many pictures back in the '20s-'60s.

Is there anyone who could help me with this project? I need to identify and price what they are worth. Then I would like to start selling copies on paper to places. I need a partner to help me and I would share profits with this person. A lot of these negatives are from Minnesota teams, Chicago, Canada, New York and other places. Coors Light Classic is Weekend Highlight

Jordan is the site for the Coors Light Classic over the weekend.

Cold Spring, leading the Lakewood League, Dundas, leading the Classic Cannon Valley League and Jordan and Shakopee presently one and two in the River Valley League and Region 3B respectively will play a round robin at the Jordan Mini-Met this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Leading off the tenth Classic will be Dundas and Shakopee at 6:15 P.M. Friday night.  At 8:30 P.M. Jordan and Cold Spring will play.  Saturday it will be Cold spring vs Shakopee at 2:00 P.M. and Dundas and Jordan at 6:00 P.M.  Sunday finds Dundas and Cold Spring tangling at 3:00 P.M. and Shakopee and Jordan playing at 6:00 P.M.  The last game counts for both the River Valley League and Region 3B.

This tourney started ten years ago as a wood bat tourney and since the advent of mandated wood it has continued on with the same teams each year.  There have been a couple of years that one team couldn't make it, however, it has stayed a great weekend for the players and fans.

Stearns County and Victory Leagues Start League Playoffs

It seems hard to believe, but League Playoffs are starting all ready.  Two of the Class "C" Leagues that are the most spirited and fun to watch are the Stearns County and Victory Leagues.  Both leagues have excellent websites to let everyone know what is going on.

The Stearns County League starts playoffs on Sunday July 13 with  North #4 Meire Grove at #1 New Munich and #3 Elrosa at #2 Spring Hill.  In the South it is #4 Farming at #1 Lake Henry and #3 Richmond at #2 St. Martin.  These playoffs are all two of  three and the first two games are played on Sunday only.  Next Sunday, the same teams play but switch home and home.  They play a night game if the playoffs are tied 1-1 at a site and night to be determined.  More info:  www.stearnscountybaseball.org/main

The Victory League has four divisions (or leagues) and each league plays a four team double elimination (the North and West play a 5 vs 4 game to determine 4) to determine a champion.  In the North, Cuyuna beat St. Mathias and then lost to Fort Ripley 6-3.  The  Brainerd Braves beat Harding 6-4 so Fort Ripley plays Brainerd on Saturday, July 12 at 1:30 P.M. at Fort Ripley.    In the loser's bracket, Harding plays Cuyuna at 1:30 P.M. at Harding.

The East division has Lastrup and Buckman at 1:30 P.M. at Lastrup on Saturday the 12th.  In the loser's bracket the Pierz Brewers play the Pierz Bulldogs on Sunday, July 13th at 1:30 P.M.

The South division has both of their games on Saturday, July 12th at 1:30 P.M.   St. Stephen plays Holdingford at St. Stephen and Avon plays Opole at Avon.

In the West, Upsala beat Flensburg to earn the fourth spot.  Sobieski plays Upsala at Sobieski and Randall plays Royalton at Randall. Both games will be Saturday, July 12th at 1:30 P.M.  For more info:  www.victoryleague.org/
