Help with old photos

I have a shoebox from my great grandfather full of negatives in perfect condition of baseball games, players, and fields/stadiums. My great grandpa was, George Thompson, one of the founders of the umpires association. He took many pictures back in the '20s-'60s.

Is there anyone who could help me with this project? I need to identify and price what they are worth. Then I would like to start selling copies on paper to places. I need a partner to help me and I would share profits with this person. A lot of these negatives are from Minnesota teams, Chicago, Canada, New York and other places. MBA BOARD MEETING MINUTES

News and Events
A Few Reminders
Written by Bill Nelson

The March 14th meeting will be the meeting that all league supplies are handed out.  Please check with your league representatives and make sure that someone from your league will be there.  A Board representative will also go over the new rules and regulations and take time to make sure that any questions are answered.  It is a fun meeting to attend as there are baseball people from all over the state there.

Mark Juberian, of Fitzgeralds will be there.  He informs me that he will have sample balls and order forms available at the meeting.  Remember, the Fitzgerald baseball has been named as the official ball of the 2010 State Tournament in Willmar and Bird Island.  He will also bring along a line of gloves that Fitzgeralds handles.  If you want to contact him before the meeting, his phone number is 218-252-7172.  His email is:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. March 15 is an important date to keep in mind.  A player that is establishing residence must have it established on or before that date.  Many players have been denied eligibility because they did not move to their new address in time.  The State Board is not lenient on this issue so keep that in mind as you sign players this year.

You should also know that March 15th is the first day that players may be signed or released for the 2010 baseball year.  The last day to sign or release players is June 30th, so if someone comes to you with a release between June 30th and March 15th you better check into it.  It is no good.

Finally, I am looking for changes that are happening with leagues and teams this year.  If you know of manager changes let me know and I'll let everyone know.  Don't speculate.  Now is the time of year that rumors fly like mosquitos on a hot night.  If you have some other ideas for stories this year I would like to hear them.  My contact point is:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
