CCVL Pitching too much for CVL

Matt VanDerBosch (Miesville) reached on an error, stole second and scored on a single by Javier Guevara (Dundas) in the first inning.  In the second, Nate Otto walked, stole second and scored on a single by Kyle Blahnik (Red Wing).  Blahnik also stole second and scored on an error by the CVL third baseman on a ball hit by David Olson (Miesville).

The CCVL tacked on their final run in the eighth when Joe Robinson (Hampton) reached on an error and scored on a single to center by Jordy Horsch (Hastings).

Hastings' Mark Moriarty picked up the win throwing the first two innings while striking out four, including the side in his second inning of work.

There were 15 hits in the game, all singles.  Kyle Blahnik was named the game's MVP garnering two hits, one RBI and playing a flawless shortstop.

The CVL had nine singles and two runners on base in the first, fourth, seventh and eighth but couldn't push across a run over the evening. Evan Walker (Savage) had two singles to lead the CVL.

Moriarty, Hedeen (3), Barta (4), Meyers (6), Pfeifer (8), Ruud (9) and Olson, Bohmbach (6).  Wallace, Lassonde (3), Johnson (5), Hauck (6), Hansen (7), Turnwall (8) and Walker.
