After some discussion a motion by Roufs, seconded Hartmann, carried, to allow Jenkinn team which will be called (Lakes Area Lighting) to play an independent schedule in 2007. They will be on probation for one year. They must submit a roster that will be on record in the State Office. This roster cannot alter at any time during the year. They must also include their league schedule in which 12 games will be checked out to see that they are abiding by all playing and eligibility rules as outlined in the 2007 MBA Handbook. This motion also makes them a “B” team and places them in Section #6 for post season play.

A letter from the Kimball Baseball Assn was read and duly noted. They asked the board if they could review the Region alignment to make them more uniform.

A letter was received from Joe Grose of Waterville and duly noted. He thought reclassifying a few “B” teams to Class “C” was wrong. He also had a few comments on the Class “C” radius and the slide rule.
