SPECIAL MBA MEETING

Meeting called to order by President Odman at 7:00 p.m.
Roll call showed all directors present.
In attendance: Mike Fahey, Wayne Erickson, Chip Knoll Doug Weimer.

Subject: Hastings Eligibility

Purpose: Allow Hastings to appeal ruling handed down to them by the State Board on June 14, 2003. Hastings was declared ineligible for Post Season Play for the 2003 Season. Their team must stay intact and players cannot be released or be drafted. The Hastings Team will be allowed to complete the 2003 regular season schedule.

The board was addressed by Wayne Erickson: General Manager of the Hastings Team, Chip Knoll: Manager of Hastings, and Doug Weimer: President of the Hastings Baseball Association. The three gentlemen supplied the board with information defending their case to some extent. They also answered many questions by the board.

Hastings was then asked to leave the room, with the board going into private session. After some discussion by the board, Hastings was asked to return. President Odman told Hastings the ruling was upheld. He thanked them for coming and wished them luck in the future. Hastings will have to appear before the board before the start of the 2004 Season to be reinstated.

Motion Forsman, seconded Brennan to adjourn. Adjournment coming at 8:15 p.m.
