2008 CALENDAR OF EVENTS

• March 15 – Player must have residence established on or before this date

• April 1 – Final date for registration of leagues and acknowledgement of Constitution

• April 12 – State Board meeting, 10 a.m., Holiday Inn, St. Cloud.
Submit player questionnaires-article 9 parg. C 2008 MBA handbook (player must appear in person along with his manager before the state Board for final approval).
Player must be approved by their league and state before (he/they) can participate in a game.
Lunch with Class A section and region commissioners at 11 a.m.
Meeting to follow as long as necessary.

• May 3 – State Board meeting, 1 p.m., Chaska Legion Club

• June 14 – State Board meeting, 11 a.m., Eastside VFW, St. Cloud

• June 30 – League roster meeting
Final date for signing and releasing players.

• July 7 – Final date for the team roster to be received by state secretary.

• July 12 – State Board will inspect parks at Tournament sites, Chaska-Shakopee 1 p.m.
State Board meeting at 3 p.m., Chaska Legion Club

• July 6-20 – Suggested dates to begin league playoffs - B and C

• Aug. 10 – Suggested that class B and C, section and region champions and runner-ups be determined

• Aug. 14, 15, 16, 17 – State tournament class and C Chaska-Shakopee

• Aug. 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31 – State tournament class B and C Chaska-Shakopee

• Sept. 1 – State tournament class B and C Chaska-Shakopee

• Sept 20 – Hall of Fame banquet and old timers reunion, Civic Center, St. Cloud

• Oct. 18 – State Board meeting, 1:30 p.m., East Side VFW, St. Cloud.
Dinner with League officers and commissioners at 4:30 p.m.
Annual meeting will follow.

• Oct. 18 – Region-Section commissioners meeting 3 p.m., East Side VFW, St. Cloud

• Oct. 18 – State Board meeting will follow annual meeting, East Side VFW, St. Cloud

• Nov. 22 – State Board meeting, 11 a.m., East Side VFW, St. Cloud.
